A NORTH Yorkshire bank is set to close as Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank axes 28 branches.
Yorkshire Bank’s Thirsk branch is set to completely shut by the end of December this year, joining 11 other Yorkshire Bank branches and 16 Clydesdale branches.
The banks, part of National Australia Bank (NAB), expect to save £5 million by the branch closures.
