Microcar and van in crash on A64 this morning
TWO vehicles have been involved in a crash on the A64 this morning.
One lane of the A64 eastbound near Copmanthorpe has been closed after a blue Virgo Prestige microcar apparently spun and was hit by a white Mercedes Sprinter van.
The woman diving the car - which is facing the wrong way in the carriageway - has suffered minor injury, police said.
There is queueing traffic in the area.
The accident happened at about 8.10am.
