Help with River Foss clean-up
VOLUNTEERS are needed to help clean up a section of the river bank in York.
The River Foss Society is working with City of York Council on Saturday, April 12, to clear litter and debris from the Foss.
Anyone wishing to take part should be at the footbridge in Foss Islands Road close to Morrison’s wearing appropriate clothing.
The society will also host an open evening at 7pm on Wednesday, April 9, at Strensall and Towthorpe Village Hall, with a talk about Askham Bog Nature Reserve.
