Driver hurt in crash on A166 between Garrowby Road and Bugthorpe Lane
A MOTORIST was injured in a crash in East Yorkshire on the A166 between Garrowby Road and Bugthorpe Lane, at 4.55pm on Thursday.
The accident caused heavy tailbacks between York and Driffield. A spokesman for Humberside Police said one person was injured in the crash and taken to Hull Royal Infirmary, but could not confirm the extent of their injuries.
The road was partially reopened at just after 6pm, but was not fully open until after 7pm.
