LEADERS Dringhouses maintained their march towards the York FA Under-19s Football League title with an 11-0 demolition of York RI.
Wilson Briggs led the way with six goals and Tom Hawksby bagged a hat-trick for Dringhouses, who are now six points clear with a game in hand on closest rivals Harrogate Town. Sam Ripley Kitson and Jack Rushworth completed the rout at New Lane.
Copmanthorpe had a 3-1 win at Acomb with goals from Conor McLeary, Adam Udakis and Ben Conor. Alex Day replied for Acomb.
Haxby were 11-1 winners over Strensall thanks to four goals from Rowan Todd, a hat-trick by Dan Clipston and strikes by Lewis Clark, Kieran Harris, Freddie Robinson and Joe Ellerker. Sean Leetham got the Strensall goal.
Fulford lost 2-1 at home to Rawcliffe, with Bailey Simpson’s goal eclipsed by efforts from Harry Lynn and Rueben Young.
