Long and short of it
MAY I, through your newspaper, congratulate City of York Council on its brave decision to close Lendal Bridge.
This allowed me to drive from York Railway Station to Haxby in 55 minutes.
Should I look forward to further measures to control traffic which would allow me even more time to complete this journey?
