Motorist has near miss on road near Wetherby
A DRIVER had to swerve off the road to avoid an oncoming car near Wetherby.
The 23-year-old woman was driving a blue Mini One from North Deighton towards Spofforth along Spofforth Lane, when she was confronted by a black Mini heading in the opposite direction. The woman had to swerve to avoid the oncoming vehicle and left the road, coming to a stop in a field. She was uninjured but her car sustained some damage.
Anyone who saw the incident or either vehicle prior to the incident should phone North Yorkshire Police on 101.
