FIVE wins were bagged by seven York City Rowing Club crews at the North of England Head in Chester.
The time trial for boats of all categories is raced over a 5,000 metre course on the River Dee, with York sending junior and masters crews to the event.
The times of the three junior boys coxless quadruple sculls were all within 24 seconds of each other.
The J18 crew finished 21 seconds ahead of the J17 crew, which was sweet revenge as the J17 crew had beaten them by two seconds at the recent Yorkshire Head on the River Ouse in York.
Though placing very high in the overall results, neither crew won their event.
It was the J16 crew of A Bruce, T Marshall, S Devlin and W King, finishing only one second behind the York J17 crew, who took Head honours in the J16 quad sculls.
The City J15 boys crew of A Press, A Howe, H Wannop, C Proctor, coxed by E Whittaker, won the J15 coxed quad event.
