I WOULD very much like to endorse the views expressed by Mr and Mrs Rushton in The Press of March 29. I too will miss Fenwick’s restaurant and I am disappointed that it is to be replaced by yet another Italian restaurant. We do have a plethora of these in York and the menus are all so similar.

I also sympathise with Mr Cox, whose letter appeared in the same edition. I share his experience of failing to have letters published recently and wondered if I had been blacklisted.
