INTERESTING that the share price for Royal Mail has increased by 70 per cent since its launch.

Once again, this, and previous Governments of the same hue, take pleasure in decimating the British business and manufacturing base, by selling off our interests to all and sundry.

This is without proven thought or concern for the outcome. The public has, once again, been let down by this sale to God knows who, or which speculators, and another question still remains to be answered.

That is: “Is there now such a thing as “Royal Mail”, as it is no longer owned by the taxpayer?”
