CUSTOMERS will benefit from longer opening hours and shorter queues at the newly-refurbished Starbeck Post Office in Harrogate High Street.
Four service positions will help streamline the flow of shoppers wanting a wider range of products and the doors will be open more than seven hours a week longer. The post office will close at 5.30pm on May 13 for the facelift and is expected to reopen at 1pm on May 27.
Area manager Julie Kemp said: “This modernisation is part of the largest in the history of the Post Office and a commitment to no more branch closure programmes.”
