EMPLOYEES from PureNet, the eCommerce solutions and digital marketing company based at Poppleton, York, needed pure energy when they took on the Three Peaks challenge to raise money for York Against Cancer.
A team of ten walkers climbed Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafel Pike in the English Lake District and Snowdon in Wales, covering 27 miles and a total ascent of 9,800 feet, in 24 hours.
Chief executive Dr Paul Gibson said: “We are proud to be sponsoring such a worthwhile local cause. This is an immensely physical and mental challenge for everyone involved. The team look set to exceed their target.”
Julie Russell, of York Against Cancer, said: “As the PureNet walkers climb they can be assured that bevery step is helping someone living with cancer. We are grateful to them and all who have sponsored them”.
