Lorry fire on Hull Road
THERE were traffic delays around Hull Road this morning when a lorry caught fire at the Melrosegate junction.
Firefighters were called at around 9.15am when the brakes on a low loader trailer caught fire.
Crews from York and Huntington were went and used a hose reel jet to put out the fire. Traffic was delayed for several hours until the scene was cleared.
