THE experienced Mick Wilcockson extended his impressive unbeaten run by beating Selby individual champion Dave Jackson in Tate and Lyle A's 5-5 Selby Fasprint Table Tennis League draw with Eggborough Ospreys.
Jackson, who won his other two matches, pushed Wilcockson all the way by winning the first two games before eventually succumbing.
Tate also enjoyed a 7-3 victory over Selby Working Men's Club with Wilcockson winning all three of his sets in just three games although Roger Ellis did extend him to deuce twice.
Captain Kevin Webster won all his three sets in Eggborough Kites' 6-4 win over Womersley.
Dave Powell clinched two sets for the visitors but only beat youngster James Atkins 14-12 in the fifth game.
Eggborough Eagles went down 7-3 to leaders Eggborough Kestrels with Chris White preventing a whitewash by winning two sets and joining forces with Paul Dykes to enjoy doubles success.
Phil Hall, though, triumphed in three sets and John Peters and Mal Machin claimed two apiece.
In division two, Mick Walker starred with three successful sets in Eggborough Hawks' 7-3 defeat of Thorpe Vipers.
Don Lambe and Colin Peacock also won two each while Stuart Anderson showed most resistance for Vipers, clinching a pair of sets and controlling a doubles victory.
