Newby Hall
NEWBY Hall and Gardens will provide a car park for the Ripon section of the Tour de France on Saturday.
With activities planned for the spectator hubs of Ripon Market Square and Ripon Racecourse, nearby Newby Hall is offering car parking.
Car parking is £10 per car and available from 5am. Admission to the gardens will be reduced to £5 per head and there will an opportunity for spectators to visit the gardens before the race, with opening times extended to 10am to 5.30pm, the venue has said. The house will be closed for the day.
Visitors are welcome to bring their own bikes and cycle, or walk to the tour route some three miles away at the Ripon by-pass.
