A CREATIVE Tour de France themed window display has been catching the eyes of shoppers and passers by in York city centre.
Staff at the Imaginarium in Blake Street were given the bike by the shop's owners and given free rein to decorate it with what they could find in the emporium-style shop.
The fantastical display now takes pride of place in the window, decorated with flowers, a zebra's head, fake birds, cherries and an umbrella.
Lynne Campbell-Wilcock, manager of the Imaginarium, who made the display with colleague Lewis Kelly, said: "Everything in the shop is flamboyant and we wanted to make sure we had the most flamboyant bike in the city.
"York looks amazing and everyone is getting in the spirit of the Tour de France, it feels a bit like York is having a celebration and we wanted to make sure we were celebrating with the city as well."
