CHILDREN at Dunnington Primary School have got into the spirit of the imminent arrival of the world's biggest annual sports event by creating a Tour De France-themed welcome for visitors.
The eye-catching display at the entrance to the school features a flower-bedecked bicycle wheel, yellow blooms in flower beds made from old tyres, sunshine yellow plant pots and bright bunting.
The feature has attracted attention and praise, including a visit from Roy Freer, of the Dunnington In Bloom committee whose past efforts have won national recognition.
