York musicians welcome Tour to city
York musicians will welcome the Tour de France to Paris with a performance at the Eiffel Tower on July 27, the day the race reaches the French capital.
York Concert Band will also play at Huntington Stadium, York, tomorrow.
The concerts will include many well-known film numbers as well as La Vie En Rose and Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien, by Edith Piaf, plus music from Les Miserables. As well as the Eiffel Tower performance, the band will perform at the Jardins de Luxembourg.
