WHY don't vehicle manufacturers put speed limiters on all vehicles, not just buses? There are thousands of speeding tickets issued, fines, court cases, deaths, damage to cars, all because people are in a rush and put their foot down.
If cars had speed limiters, then they wouldn't be able to drive past that speed, at least. If the motorway top speed is 70mph, then why do we have cars that can be driven at more than 130mph? If the only selling point for some people is the speed, then people and manufacturers need re-educating. Speed kills.
There are ways to cut deaths on the roads, and it could start with the manufacturers making cars unable to move faster and faster all the time. Then of course there's driver neglect, the need for speed, and the uncaring attitude to fellow road-users.
