AFTER a heavy defeat at the hands of champions-elect Chapel Allerton, IT Sports Wigginton got their Yorkshire Squash League premier division season back on track with a whitewash of Hallamshire.
Wigginton got off to the best possible start when Ian Tooms, Mat Lowery and Neil Cordell all had 3-0 victories.
Tooms defeated Nick King 11-4, 11-6, 11-10, Lowery beat Chris Fuller 11-2, 11-3, 11-7 and England junior Cordell saw off Brendon Hickerman 11-5, 11-10, 11-5.
Wigginton's only dropped game came when Derbyshire player Joel Hines lost the third game to Mark Fuller but won the match 11-2, 11-3, 2-11, 11-5. Manchester's Pete Bilsen wrapped up overall victory by beating Karl Hanson 11-3, 11-5, 11-7.
Wigginton's next game is at Harrogate on Wednesday.
