I CANNOT believe any decent national establishment would deliberately manipulate words in the English language to attack family life and traditional values.
Such a thing, though, is happening in politically-correct Blairite Britain, as part of some crazy plan to hasten social decline. So much so, we've now seen the replacement of "husband" or "wife" with "partner", and the hideous rejection of such words as "mother" and "father".
This, alarmingly, is something straight from the pages of George Orwell's nightmarish novel 1984. It beggars all belief.
It was, I think, Karl Marx who said: "We must destroy family life and parental responsibility". Are we thus to assume a Communist elite is controlling the pulse of our once-great nation?
