THIS is the moment that barmaid Gina Ward finally marries PC Phil Bellamy in the popular TV series Heartbeat.
Yorkshire Television is tight-lipped about what the crew and cast of the long-running story of 1960s country folk were filming in Goathland amid the snow yesterday, and will neither confirm nor deny anything.
But our exclusive pictures by staff photographer Anthony Chappel-Ross tell their own story. In the next series, coming to our television screens in May, the love match of Gina and Phil will finally make it to the altar after all their ups and downs.
The previous series has just ended with PC Bellamy, played by Mike Jordon, clutching his chest amid fears of a heart attack.
Gina, played by Tricia Penrose, decided against marrying him in the past when their baby died, and has had a brief relationship with another man.
But as you can see, the woman in a white wedding outfit outside the Aidensfield church, otherwise known as Goathland church, is Gina, and the bridegroom next to her is Phil.
And the programme's website does give a hint, saying: "Gina and Phil will always care for each other and this series will see them come to recognise their feelings and their shared hopes for the future."
