IT Sports Wigginton had their second whitewash in a row when they hammered local rivals Harrogate 5-0 in the Yorkshire Squash League premier division.
Manager Ian Tooms got them off to a flier beating Simon Myring 13-11, 11-7, 11-9. Captain Matt Lowry defeated Harrogate professional David Duncalf 11-1, 11-3, 11-8. England junior Neil Cordell then beat Duncalf's sister, Jenny 11-9, 11-7, 11-2.
Playing at number two for Wigginton was Derbyshire champion Joel Hinds who saw off John Fulham 11-8, 11-8, 11-8.
The only point dropped on the night was from Andy Whip who lost the first game to Mike Pearson 11-9 before winning the next three 11-0, 11-2, 11-1.
This victory leaves Wigginton hot on the heels of leaders Chapel Allerton. Their next match is at home against Queens Halifax on January 31.
