Shopaholic Becky Bloomwood is back, and this time she's shopping for two. Now happily married to Luke Brandon and about to buy the house of her dreams (with a shoe room), the forthcoming baby is the icing on the cake. And with the pregnancy of course come lots of new, exciting things to shop for.

Becky's life is perfect - until she finds out that her new celebrity obstetrician is Luke's glamorous ex-girlfriend.

With an unmistakable chemistry between Luke and Venetia, a series of misunderstandings and secrets begin, some fuelled by Becky's ever-active imagination and some by deliberate deceits. You are kept guessing until the end as to what is going on.

As always, Becky manages to get herself into one nightmare situation after another. We welcome back many of Becky's friends from the previous books. Entertaining as always, Suze is a character everyone would love to have as a best friend, while Becky's sister is as eccentric as ever.

A funny and light-hearted read, my only criticism is that Becky hasn't developed much as a person throughout the series.
