I JUST read about the sale of our beautiful Groves Chapel. As a youngster I myself and many others sang, recited, played the piano, and then received certificates when we either won or came second or third. It was called the Eisteddfod.

Such lovely memories. I kept my certificate for years, coming second in singing. It would be lovely to have for a collection of photos etc to show in the lobby, also in the chapel. Could be maybe Eisteddford Chapel. Youngsters came from all over from different chapels. It was the highlight of my youth.
