Firefighters are battling a blaze at two properties that has closed the main street of a North Yorkshire village.
Five fire crews have been called into action to deal with the fire in Carperby near Leyburn in Wensleydale.
It started in a barn and spread to a nearby cottage. No-one is believed to be trapped.
Emergency services have closed Main Street, Carperby, while the fire is brought under control and extinguished.
