School inspectors have praised the boarding facilities at both St Peter's and St Olave's Schools in York.
The Independent Schools Inspectorate, which has taken over from Ofsted for private schools, made a three-day visit to the schools in October.
In their "Boarding Welfare Intermediate Reports" for both schools, they praise aspects of the schools' facilities and operations.
St Peter's School headmaster Leo Winkley said: “This is a terrific endorsement of our boarding provision, and the skills and commitment of all our pastoral staff. " He thanked parents, pupils and staff who took part in the inspection.
