POLICE are investigating an alleged assault on a 23-year-old woman in a Tesco store in George Street, Driffield.
Humberside Police appealed for independent witnesses to the incident on Saturday afternoon, in which the victim is said to have been grabbed by her hair by a woman and pushed into a window, causing bruising to her arm.
The offender then left the store onto George Street and got in to a white vehicle, said a spokesman, asking anyone with information to call 101, quoting crime reference number 2080788 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
