YET again we hear more anti-car views from Paul Hepworth and Sara Robin (Letters, November 18).
Paul seems to forget that buses are also caught up in jams on this road and it can take more than 20 minutes just to get across this road, which is something dualling and grade separation of junctions would solve.
Paul suggests he is not anti-car, but his letter in Tuesday’s paper and many letters before prove that he is anti-car.
As for David Merrett, he should resign. He and his cronies have done much damage to this city and have caused a lot of the congestion themselves with their anti-car policies.
One of the biggest causes of congestion in York is the use of bendy buses, so let’s start by ridding York of these useless objects.
