Heworth held on to their four-point lead at the top of the York Conservative Clubs' Slater Cup Snooker Pairs League by recording a comfortable 5-2 win against Acomb.
Second-placed Bootham won 5-2 at Fulford after coming back from 2-0 down with the help of two black-ball results.
The defeat leaves Fulford level on points at the bottom with Acomb but with one more win.
