ANCIENT monuments on the North York Moors – including Bronze Age burial grounds – are under threat.
But this time nature, not modern man, is to blame – specifically, sett-digging badgers and spreading bracken.
Park volunteers have been trained to look our for badger activity. And as for the bracken, that is being tackled by a Monument Management Scheme.
No one ever said looking after a National Park was easy.
