A BREWER and baker will join forces in York this weekend to throw a joint party in the city centre.
Yeast: Bread & Beer is a collaboration between The Haxby Bakehouse and Malton's Bad Seed Brewery.
The event is at Belfrey Hall off Stonegate, along an alley next to the House of Trembling Madness, from noon to 11pm on Saturday.
There will be music, beer, bread and a winter barbecue. Entry is free.
Phil Clayton, from the award-winning Haxby Bakehouse, said: "The same ingredients can be used to make bread and beer so bakers and brewers make a natural pair. Plus we both like having a good time so throwing a party together seemed like a great idea."
