IN MY humble opinion I think Cllr James Alexander resigned before he was pushed. I think it’s time the other members of his party departed too.
His attitude and that of his party was rather bombastic instead of empathetic towards York residents. Mistakes were made, bad decisions were taken and money was wasted.
Yet when questioned about this, his response seemed to be that someone else had caused the problem.
York is a historic city and Mr Alexander changed some of its quaintness; that was not a good move. So in the words of sir Alan Sugar, you’re fired. Now maybe the others will follow you.
S McClaren, Boroughbridge Road, York.
