A MISSING elderly woman was found on a river bank by emergency services this morning.
Fire crews, police and paramedics were called to the scene close to North Bridge, in Ripon, at 2am today when the pensioner was spotted close to the stream.
The police helicopter was scrambled and mountain rescue also took part in the search after the woman was reported missing on Sunday afternoon.
She was found at the side of the river and taken to hospital with suspected hypothermia.
