MAY I add a footnote to Mrs Pettitt’s letter of November 20 headlined “Chapel memories”.
Melbourne Terrace Methodist Chapel was pulled down 25 years ago, but a smaller one was rebuilt on the site. The big schoolroom is now used by the Blueberry Academy.
On Sunday, December 21 at 10.30am there will be a carol service and on Christmas Day at 10am a short service to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Everyone will be welcome at both of these services.
