MOTORISTS have been advised to avoid an area of the York ring road following a two vehicle crash.
The crash was reported to North Yorkshire Police at about 4.20pm, on the ring road close to Tesco at Clifton Moor.
A spokeswoman said nobody was thought to have been injured in the crash, and one vehicle was off the road.
However, the other vehicle and some debris was still in the road, and expected to remain there until a recovery vehicle arrives.
The spokeswoman said motorists should avoid the area if possible, as traffic was expected to build up during rush hour.
