I FULLY agree with Paul Hepworth, Sarah Robin and Randal Northam that there are far too many cars on the road.
One double-decker bus can, if each car has only one person, take 70 cars off the road; even if there are five people in each car, that’s 14 cars off the road.
The cars are clogging up our cities and even making it impossible for buses to get through at times.
We’re told the ozone layer may only have another 50 years of life span, which means unfortunately our younger generation or some later generation will have the effects of our love of the car to sort out.
I believe the environment and a decent future for future generations comes first, not the freedom of the car, unless we want nothing left for our kids.
