POLITICIANS, current affairs producers, analysts and the political elite, even after Rochester, still will not face up to the real reason why Ukip is so popular.

Their continual attempts to portray Ukip as a racist party that is only concerned with immigration just doesn’t wash, as the last two by-elections have proved.

People just want an in/out EU referendum as soon as possible because they have never had the opportunity to give their say on the huge all-interfering legislature that the EU has become, pure and simple.

People are deserting the main parties in droves because of the arrogance and “we know what’s best for you”stance taken by the major parties. They deserve all that’s coming to them.
