I RECENTLY completed an excellent training session at Hazel Court to become a snow warden. If you have not volunteered yet, I urge you to do so.
Our population is getting older and we all know someone who took a nasty spill in 2011 or 2012.
I took away my snow shovel, hi-viz jacket, gloves and good advice on the night. What I got next was a questionnaire mailed by the Equalities Commission – which I utterly failed to take seriously.
So if it does snow (and I hope it doesn’t), and you do spot a disabled, black, transvestite, happily-married lesbian clearing pavements, give me a hoot.
