TWO new unit lease deals have seen a business park reach full occupancy following a two year marketing campaign.
G W Sissons, the owners of By-Pass Park Estate in Sherburn in Elmet, announced the tenants is national bathroom distribution company Davroc, which has taken two units on a five year term, as it re-locates its northern depot from Bolton to Sherburn in Elmet.
By-Park Park Estate is one of the largest single owned industrial estates in North Yorkshire comprising around 75,000 sq ft of industrial and warehouse accommodation.
The new tenants follow on swiftly after regional distribution company Zenith Logistics took 7,000 sq ft, and national ground investigation company Geotechnics took 4,500 sq ft, while LED lighting suppliers Vexica took 4,500 sq ft, with all completing in October.
Paul Mack, head of the Yorkshire Industrial & Logistics Team at DTZ, said: "Occupiers have for a long time considered Sherburn in Elmet as a viable alternative distribution destination and logistics hub in comparison to the more expensive locations such as Normanton, Wakefield and Wetherby and Harrogate.
"Sherburn in Elmet generally offers cheaper premises, which provide uncongested and direct access onto the A1(M) and M62 Motorways.
"Having implemented a co-ordinated and pro-active marketing campaign, we are delighted to have concluded nine transactions within two years and can now formally announce that By-Pass Park is officially fully occupied."
