2 car crash on A64 this morning
EMERGENCY services have been called to a crash on the A64 this morning.
The collision happened at just after 8am, and closed one lane of the westbound carriageway between Copmanthorpe and Bilbrough.
North Yorkshire Police said the crash involved two vehicles on the slip road from McDonalds onto the A64.
A spokesman said the vehicles had been removed from the scene by about 8.30am, but traffic had built up and was moving very slowly.
