HAVING a break from being Middle East Peace envoy, Tony Blair has been to New York and received an award from the charity Save the Children.
To honour a man whose penchant for foreign wars has led to sectarian strife, in which children have been killed, maimed and orphaned, taints a laudable cause.
Blair also seems willing to associate himself with any dictatorship willing to pay him for his advice and influence.
Roll on the day when he retires, no doubt to some tax haven with his ill-gotten gains.
