I ENJOYED the interview on Saturday with Terry Dyson of the Malton sporting dynasty.
In the interest of accuracy regarding other events coinciding with the Tottenham ‘double’ in 1961, I would point out that Nicolaus Silver was not the first grey to win the Grand National.
That honour belongs to The Lamb, who won the great race in 1868 and again in 1871.
