A YORK man faces a trial after allegedly breaking a restraining order by contacting the Jeremy Kyle show.
Thirty-year-old Michael Hall, of Fishergate, York, is legally prohibited from contacting a woman either directly or indirectly.
But prosecutors allege that between October 19 and November 4 he broke these conditions by getting in touch with the Jeremy Kyle show, prompting members of the production team to then contact the victim and ask her numerous questions.
Hall pleaded not guilty to a charge of breaching his restraining order in front of magistrates in York yesterday.
He was given conditional bail, and now faces a trial at the magistrates court on Friday, February 6, 2015.
