A MAN who confronted two youths was knocked to the ground in Selby.
The incident happened at about 3pm on Wednesday, in an alleyway between Londesbrough Street and Raincliffe Street, when the man disturbed two youths he thought were acting suspiciously.
The victim was knocked to the ground and suffered bruising to his face. He was taken to hospital as a precaution.
The suspects are both described as teenagers, 5ft 9ins tall, wearing dark clothes and scarves. One of them had a pedal cycle with small wheels.
