YORK’S Song Box seniors’ friendship group has paid a visit to a Haxby sheltered housing centre to kick off the Christmas spirit.
The group brought smiles and good cheer to the residents of Hanover Court, singing traditional carols in the newly redesigned communal garden. The Song Box “Friendship group with a musical twist” meets every Friday at Oaken Grove community centre in Haxby, from 1pm to 2pm.
