New out-of-hours service provider in York
OUT-OF-HOURS care for the local community is to be delivered by a different provider in York.
The provider has been confirmed as Northern Doctors Urgent Care, part of the Vocare Group, by the Vale of York Clinical Commissioning Group.
John Harrison, chief executive of Northern Doctors Urgent Care, said: “We are delighted that we have been chosen as preferred provider for Vale of York’s GP out-of-hours service.
“Our focus is to ensure that patients receive the right care at the right time for their needs. We look forward to working with local healthcare providers to deliver high quality and consistent Out-of-Hours care for patients in the Vale of York.”
The new service will launch on April 1 next year.
