The main street through a North Yorkshire village was cordoned off in the early hours this morning when fire broke out in a farm outbuilding.
Fire crews from Huntington, York and Acomb, feared acetylene cylinders in a garage/workshop at a Flaxton farm would explode.
They closed the village's main street and put a safety cordon round the property while they dealt with the blaze which started about midnight.
The building, the two vehicles inside and other contents were extensively damaged.
The road reopened before dawn after the fire was extinguished.
