Readers donate boxes of toys and tins to The Press appeal
BOXES and parcels of toys and food have begun arriving at The Press’s offices.
The donations have arrived in response to our latest Toys & Tins Appeal.
Readers are responding with typical generosity to our pleas for toys and non-perishable food, which will be given to less fortunate children and adults over the festive period by Independent Domestic Abuse Services and the Salvation Army.
To donate to the appeal, simply drop unwrapped gifts at our reception in Walmgate between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Please give donations no later than the deadline – Thursday, December 18.
