Police hunt jewellery raiders
Police are hunting jewellery raiders who struck yesterday evening in Selby.
Detectives have spent today analysing CCTV from the town centre and doing forensic work at the shop in Gowthorpe where the burglars broke in between 8pm and 9pm.
The raiders took jewellery from the window display and fled when they set off the burglar alarm.
York CID is urging anyone with information about the burglary or who knows the raiders’ identity to contact them.
